"The Blackvale School for Girls, 1971. It's bad enough that students Samantha (Madison Baines) and Clara (Georgia Acken) can't go home for the holidays, but things take a deadly turn when a gang of cult killers arrives at their doorstep - just in time for Christmas."

Mena's still in perpetual timeout for me considering what he said about TLM and the disrespect to the cast he made with that comment. Being upset over Aladdin 2 possibly being axed - I'm guessing that was it because it wasn't confirmed - and him not being able to find roles and MENA (Middle Eastern/North African) and other Black and brown actors not getting roles they should be getting is worth mentioning in and of itself. But he absolutely did not need to disparage the cast of The Little Mermaid in making that point - his comments were cruel and he needed to be as loud in an apology as he was to make a messed up statement like that. His beef needed to be with Disney execs or the people who actually sidelined him, not a diverse cast and crew who did a damn fine job on their own project.

And I say this also knowing that I've liked the projects I've seen him in as an actor and would willingly would follow his career because I think he's talented. But the nonsense he said doesn't fly with me and the lack of follow up on his part after that hurts.

Before the TLM Tweet I had such a soft spot for him. I really liked the Aladdin remake. At the time it was my favorite of the remakes. I was pissed that they were/are making the spinoff with the white prince. I thought he should be working more, have a bigger career. But that tweet completely soured me to him.
