Um hi I literally just came out of an advance showing of this movie

I loved the og trilogy but never got around to reading the prequel so I went in blind but I loved it! Rachel is such a talent, her vocals really shined here (so much more singing than I expected?).

Do you have to see the OGs to watch this one? I've only seen the first hunger games movie but kinda want to see this one. Just wondering how lost I would be.

You should be fine, there are just some little nods and bits of foreshadowing that you might miss.

Good question!

I don't think you have to, especially since it's a prequel this gives you enough world building. It is super fulfilling seeing the games at an early stage and then the scale it gets to in the proper trilogy.
