Idk how people can do festivals like this in one day. I’m going to Sick New World (the metal version of this) and I’m confirmed going to dieeee

I did an industrial festival similar (but smaller) back in March/April and that was fine but it was at a hotel and had lots of vendors so we had more downtime then. I guess this & Sick New World is outdoors?

Just a tip for you. I went to WWWY this year and because your festival is in April it's going to be VERY hot and there is like no shade there really. So wear sunscreen and light clothing and be prepared to spend money on water and keep hydrated. It was hot this Oct in Vegas and me and my friend were dying but still had fun checking out all the bands. The food also is outrageously priced so be prepared to spend some money on food. If you are wanting merch try to buy it before the festival cuz good luck in the merch line when you are in. I heard people waited over 2 hours just to buy band merch. I saw the line and gave up.

Oh no this is giving me Warped Tour flashbacks, which is honestly the last time I saw most of these bands.

I said the same thing. Good thing I've been to Warped when it used to be a crap show cuz if I hadn't I think I would've been in the medic tent haha.

I saw on the website that there's free water dispensers. I'd take a brita filter-type water instead! And also to OP and whoever goes to festivals in general, take a small battery fan or a manual (?) fan; you'll need them! And a hat, of course. :)

On my first festival, I was seventeen, my mom was scared that I was going to pass out or something lmao so she made me carry (and hide!) gatorade powder packets. They saved my life lmao - I would buy a water cup and just mix my gatorade there.

There was no water stations anywhere. If there was one I didn't see it or they didn't put the sign to where people could see it. Most people including me just bought water at the vendors or where the food was. They did provide free water bottles in the line to get in. That was good, you just had to drink it before going in. People were passing out in line and inside. It was so hot!

There were at least 2 water stations. One was near the Striped stage and one near-ish the Pink stage, next to the bathrooms that were past the skate ramp. I hate that you didn’t see them :(

I still ended up buying water a couple of times because the free wasn’t super cold.

Pro-tip: medical tent has shade and gave out free Liquid Deaths. You can also bring a collapsible water bottle and use hydration stations.

Food is stupid expensive, and don't even bother with merch if you have a stacked line-up.
