Netflix held a premiere for the final season of The Crown in Los Angeles last night. The first four episodes of the season drop on Thursday, with the last six releasing next month

Before I would've said, hell no. Who has the time.

But 1) it coming out that #ThatFamily purposely took Harry and Meghan's security away, knowing that their threat level was comparable to that of the Queen, and purposefully leaked their location to the world's press (and those that would seek to do them harm), I wouldn't be surprised (because honestly, how could you deny the thread line from that leak to potential harm is clear);

and 2) #ThatFamily metastasizes itself and refuses to see the forest for the trees. Chuckles and William are insecure, overindulged and surrounded by yes people who feed into their egos. I think Liz held on for as long as she did because she knew they weren't up to the task of maintaining the empire and its because of this kind of childishness and inability to leverage others. Meghan could've been the thing to keep this thing going for another 100 years if they would've embraced the gently Black woman (Down with the colonial empire but if they wanted this thing continue for the long term, no one was thinking strategically. Meghan was a PR coup and down to perpetuate the Commonwealth - but they couldn't get past the racism and the xenophobia).
