Netflix held a premiere for the final season of The Crown in Los Angeles last night. The first four episodes of the season drop on Thursday, with the last six releasing next month

yeah i meant the drama pre-release lol, in between the queen's death in september and its actual release in november when british politicians/celebs were all furious

when the season dropped and was a) the weakest season of the show and b) WAY nicer to charles in particular than all the people mad about it were expecting, the talk about it definitely vanished

also the fact that the first four seasons were such huge emmys darlings and season 5 got barely anything speaks for itself. going into the recent years isn't something people want to see, this shouldn've stayed on the 'historic' side
