I just don't think Anxiety is different enough from Fear to make it a chore emotion

hard disagree. fear is a response to a perceived threat, anxiety is worry about a threat that has not yet or may never happen

huge difference especially if you're someone who suffers from anxiety/panic disorders

I do suffer from anxiety and it feels like a type of fear to me, you said fear is a response to a perceived threat, the only difference to you is that with anxiety that threat may or may not happen? still sounds similar to me
