Tyler Perry tells SAG-AFTRA "they won" seems to want them to settle

- Tyler Perry was asked about the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike and seemed to imply he wanted the negotiating committee to settle saying "we've won" and that they were arguing over a 3 year deal
- However one of the sticking points with the committee is protecting the digital images of actors. Studios want to be able to scan actors and use their images for free without telling them or their estates (if they're dead). SAG-AFTRA has been pushing back against digital scanning and many A-list actors backed them to strike over this issue in the first place
- Joelle Garfinkel, a writer who organized the "green envelope fund" which matches striking workers with donations towards their groceries revealed that 10% of people who apply for the fund come from Tyler Perry shows and called him out for not supporting the strikers
