Asia Argento supports Marilyn Manson in Instagram story
On Monday, Asia Argento liked a post by Instagram user "mansonsarmageddon" and posted a link to it in her instagram stories.
The post features a picture of Manson and Argento together while they were filming Argento's directorial debut "The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things" in which Manson played a child rapist. The post includes the hashtags #justiceforjohnnydepp and #evanrachelwoodisaliar. Manson has been accused of rape and abuse by several woman, including Wood.
In 2018, Argento accused Harvey Weinstein of rape, making her one of the faces of the #MeToo movement. However, she was later sued by her co-star Jimmy Bennett for sexually assaulting him when he was 17. Argento and Bennett had first met when she had been his director on "Heart is Deceitful" when he was 8 years old. She later paid Bennett $380,000 in an out-of court settlement.
