- Norris tops P1 while Ferrari struggles with a dropping temperature track
- Using an extra set of soft tyres, Max makes a puzzling decision to make another outlap though already at P2 and stays at P2
- Eliminated: HUL, OCO, GAS, MAG, ALB
Q3:
- It’s so dark - someone cut the light on!
- Piastri goes off road briefly causing a yellow flag
- It’s so spooky out there, this track always delivers. Red flag session will not resume
- Lance in P3 maybe he'll fucking wake up

The Sprint Shootout
S1:
- Russell gets a two place grid penalty for impeding at the pit
- With less than 45 seconds Ocon hits a barrier on the out lap causing a red flag while Alonso gets a puncture in the front left tyre at first it was unclear if these incidents were related but replay proves as such
- Session 2 starts but Alonso will not be participating due to the puncture
- Ricciardo comes in clutch with P2 but knocked down by Perez
- But then here comes Lando Norris
- Eliminated: MAG, HUL, GAS, BOT, ALO
S2:
- Norris hits the top again with Max coming in second
- Yuki said fuck this bad luck streak is ovah! He hits p5
- Verstappen takes the lead at the first turn and my day is ruined, my disappointment immeasurable
- Both Mercs quickly pass Perez
- Perez comes back to 4th and so does Norris
- The Mercs lost speed on the straights with the soft tyres
- King Alex reports that oil is coming out of Valtteri’s car but nothing serious after
- Great battle between Russell and Perez. Damn the W14 is awful - it’s commendable what the drivers have done this season honestly
- Piastri very very very very closes in to pass Ricciardo
