She's giving background for her concerns, and it seems like she had many, which were understandable. They are making a movie while the real life family is alive and several are minors so yes, as a mom, I understand her concerns for her daughters and the studio and filmmakers likewise should have expected pushback. None of that is on Sofia but it is understandable why she brought it up, the family was still emotionally struggling (and we don't and shouldn't know how badly the twins were doing).

but ultimately lisa marie could have written a fucking dissertation on why she didn't want the movie to come out but in the end, it wasn't her story to control or tell and i find a lot of her writing here to be laying on a guilt that is frankly astounding considering who her father really was
whether she could come to terms with it or not doesn't mean a thing to me
