Okay, I admit I haven't looked into this at all, but can someone tell me what rules a restaurant would have for customers? I don't even know what that could mean. Maybe I unknowingly follow rules at some places I go, but I'm baffled here!

It's things like not being open during posted hours, no one picking up the phone, only allowing take out at certain times, not allowing any substitutions or changes due to allergies, no more than four people, etc etc. Like beyond just being a busy restaurant where you might have a long wait.

#3. we add 18% tip on all parties over 5 and/or bills over $105
#9: No parties over 4 people on days that end with 'y'. we're small and there's not enough room

read the rest. They're so out of pocket.

Speaking from experience, the no parties over 4 is an arbitrarily enforced rule that depends on who is in the party. I have noticed that for certain people, they look the other way.

That sounds like all of Atlanta restaurant culture: it depends on who you are. I would be bullshit if I lived down there. I just want some chicken & waffles or brunch! Don't charge me for extra butter or police my hiking sandals, I'm old, just feed me!

omg those rules are ridiculous

I love how the last rule is about how you should totally just sleep in your car while waiting because there's no waiting area (and also no reservations unless you're literally Barack Obama -- I guess Michelle has to sleep in her car too)

and then following up all that uptight shit with "remember, this is supposed to be fuN!" xdlfkjvsd

no individual checks, but you can use 3 forms of payment for 1 bill...that's splitting 3 ways lmfao

There is a difference though. Splitting a check can get really sloppy and the table itself is usually shit at remembering who had what, and more often than not no one wants to take on the full price of the appetizers and wants them divided among several people and can never decide who.

With one check with an infinite amount of cards, you can say how much you want on each card, or split it evenly. That's a shit ton less complicated than split checks.

Oh my gosh! I would never go to a place like this! Even if it's something I would do normally, if there's an unnecessary rule about it, I get annoyed.
