It's a sobering statistic that elected officials in the U.S. Read more... )

Very surprised by some of these names, namely Bennifer, Kristen Stewart, and Drake. They all seem like the types to consider themselves "a-political" and say nothing.

Lauren Juaregui has been killing it on twitter about this conflict btw.

i was pleasantly surprised to see rachel mcadams sign the petition. not that i suspected her of having shitty beliefs or considering herself apolitical, but she's always just struck me as being super quiet/lowkey about everything. (but i could be wrong about that... i never followed her very closely, but i always had a soft spot for her.)

She was in that magazine spread recently and refused to let them edit it (they probably somewhat did anyway) and you could see her body hair, she had on little to no make up. She wanted girls to see what she actually looks like. I think its when that God, Its me margaret movie came out.

Kristen always votes and supports liberal candidates and has been spotted in several marches, but she is not on social media so people usually find out via a 3rd party instagram acc,

She was also one of the few celebs to sign this one pretty early on. But don’t tell ONTD that. They’re so weird when it comes to her

Yep, she was on the original list. Kirsten Dunst signed that other letter praising Biden first (the same Biden who questioned the Palestinian fatalities) and then signed this one later on. Bradley Cooper and David Oyelowo did the same and all three can frankly, fuck off.

I remember see Kirsten sign that and so seeing her name on this one just screams “saving face”

Definitely, her name wasn't on this initially, it was quite a small list that just started to grow but she's only posted on IG showing support for Israel. This is not genuine and anyone who has signed both letters deserves to be called out.

That other letter is so offensively worded and it's signed by Amy Schumer which tells me pretty much everything I need to know.

Didn’t Ben slam Bill Maher years ago for being Islamophobic and racist? I feel like Ben has had a few political moments where he’s spoken out

Ben Affleck gives me the vibes of being political irl and just not making it part of his persona
