Obv I have never been but whenever I see the Chateau Marmont in photos or movies it just looks dusty. Or musty. Is this accurate or am I just a poor?

Exactly, it pretty much put it "on the map." I'm not saying that the hotel itself banks off of it necessarily, it just shouldn't pretend that that is not its biggest reputation (besides being extremely overpriced).

Like with The Viper Room and River Phoenix. Except i like that place.
