The thing that is always in my brain is how dangerous pregnancy is.

I’d hide it for a month or two before announcing. It would be nice to keep that info to myself first because people lose all sense of boundaries once they find out a woman is pregnant.

I'd hide it just for precaution in case a complication were to occur just cause I'd want to have that time to myself instead of being like "fuck.....now I gotta make a statement". I feel for the girls out there.

I wouldn't hide it but I wouldn't announce it either. There's something cringey about celebs announcing their pregnancies to people magazine and the like. I would just show up to events and people can speculate if they want to.

And I don't think she was full on hiding. She and Ryan are just good at being private.

tbh i think it's every persons individual business if they want to announce or not, but what i think is stupid is going out of your way to photoshop pictures at events to make it look otherwise like halle did for a while, like why hide it if you're out and about

I'd disappear like Billie Lourd did during hers. IIRC her first pregnancy was only announced right before the birth (or after it had happened?) and no one had any idea. I think pregnancy photoshoots are cheesy as hell and people always have way too many opinions about women during their pregnancies anyways.

I'm a complete attention whore in most areas of my life but marriage/childbirth would be something I would keep very low-key. Especially if there were complications of some kind! The entire world (or whatever section of the public that cares about you) commenting on my loss would just feel like salt in the wound, personally.

i remember that greta gerwig hid her very pregnant self throughout the entire shooting of little women. she wore huge ass coats and dresses even when it was hot af.
