i came across a video making fun of how "cringe" millennials are and one of the clips was literally a woman being happy when her food came to her table at a restaurant. (smiling and dancing in her seat) i was like ok??? smh

Ok but was it staged? Because some of those videos really do make me cringe. Like the one that was like “I’m so different, I eat a BURGER at brunch!” And had a whole set up of herself receiving said burger. Ok, zany girl!

Hope this isn't about the pancake girl. The one who prob took a dozen attempts to make that clip that invoked that other woman's reaction and later said blacks criticism of her is "food for thought" since they've endured hatred too

This is 100 percent what that comment is about because it's the clip that came to mind when I read it. The act of being happy about your meal or even dancing in your seat to it arriving doesn't bother me. It's the fact you're at an IHOP most likely staging your reaction to your phone playing the audio and judging by the people in the background you probably did multiple takes of it. I tend to just kind let people live and do their own thing in public but I do judge if you're OTT about in a space that doesn't call for it

I take pics to look at them later and remember the moment that everyone wants us to "live in" or to look up the dish to recreate it at home.

Criticizing people for a harmless activity is cringe. I really don't like it.
