When I was in Japan I took photos of my food and sent them to friends and family to show them what I ate and I regret NOTHING 😂

It's only irksome when someone stops you from digging in, all for their silly photo. It's a different story when it's your own dish, I think. Food is not just to satiate, it's a significant part of human culture. It's only natural that people will want to capture it in photos! Especially when traveling.

Agreed! Or when people take too long setting up their shot.

But I appreciate when folks will put pics on their reviews of restaurants, so I can see what the food really looks like when it comes to you.

I've taken pictures of food before. I think I've only stopped someone from eating once because we wanted to capture how pretty it was. I didn't share them tho
