Christian Bale as Howl will forever be the sexiest English dub.

If he's not playing a hot zaddy in this, I will BOYCOTT.

Of all the Japanese to English dubs out in the world, the casting for Ghibli movies seems to really get it right every time. Christian Bale as Howl was perfection.

and I actually don't mind most of the English dubs that have come out. The only one that grated on me was Ponyo. It just felt like little kids yelling.

Well that’s because that film is mainly little kids yelling, heh.

regardless of the language, little kids yelling always grates on me lol It's why I struggled to finish the Buddy Daddies anime because while the concept was totally up my alley and I loved the characters, Miri's CONSTANT NEED to be yelling about EVERYTHING made it hard to sit through.

One of the only times I prefer the English dub to the Japanese voice actor. Christian Bale is gonna outact Kimutaku by a mile again in this movie.

I don't watch English dubs because Japanese VA is amazing but him as Howl is perfect, I never cared about him as an actor before that.

he is my howl forever lol i am generally a subs over dubs person but i'm so fond of his howl!
