Love is Blind Season 5 Wedding Ep is Here + Reunion Trailer
Episode 10 for this season's love is blind dropped with only two couples left. Will anyone left get married in what's left of this dumpster fire of a season? Spoilers obviously below.
Stacy & Izzy
Izzy is scared as hell leading up all up to the ceremony. He writes Stacy a poem before which she notes is the first note she's gotten from him unprompted. She expressed doubts to get family about the red flags from Izzy and that it's not about the credit card, it's about the lack of transparency. At the altar Izzy says I Do and Stacy reaffirms her love for Izzy but ultimately this is not the right time for her to say yes. Izzy takes this well at the altar but afterwards is a bit hurt and standoffish saying that if now isn't the right time then will it ever be for Stacy or is she always going to be looking for something wrong. He then whines about him not caring if someone isn't rich (dude easy for you to say when you're broke!!!)
Lydia and Milton
* Honestly I have no recap because I fast forwarded to the altar. I did catch a bit of Milton talking to his dad where he basically dismissed all of his dad's advice about fighting fair in a relationship and then he was having a mom freakout because he noted everyone around him has clear hesitations about their relationship. Yoinks. Lydia at the altar says I Do, Milton SHOCKINGLY also says I Do. I guess congrats to the happy couple.
Some other bits from the closing scenes of the show:
* Taylor said she has some regrets with not going through with her JP relationship because she did love him but her heart said walking away was the right thing.
* JP thinks his "inability to open up" pushes people away. (Ok dude sure keep using that excuse as if you didn't have a personality during the pods.)
* Uche regrets not providing an environment where Aaliyah felt safe and that he wants to grow and be a better communicator.
* Aaliyah said she was challenged in a really weird way on the show.
* Johnnie's learned she's not perfect and hasn't always made the best decisions but she's capable of a healthy relationship.
* Chris believes love is blind. He's optimistic for the future.
Season 5 reunion airs Sunday at 8pm EST and is NOT LIVE.
