I made this post 100% because I was so mad about the fight in the clip.

Izzy/Stacy berating Chris to dump Johnnie, while Johnnie is RIGHT THERE was so insane lord.

I feel bad for Chris tbh Izzy clearly doesn't give a fuck about him and neither does Jonnie. I appreciated that Stacy flat out told Izzy to stop trying to intervene bc they weren't really friends. I honestly can't with these people claiming such deep friendships with folks they met like, a month ago (not surprising tho considering they're also saying I love yous to people they met a month ago lol)

Yeah, while I hated Stacy's instigating at the gathering I liked her reaction to Izzy about it after the fact. Because it's true Izzy needs to stop giving a shit about a girl he claims he wants nothing to with and it IS insulting to Stacy to constantly compare the two of them.

I thought it was disturbing how excited Izzy was about confronting Johnie. Yeah, she's unhinged but he was practically giddy over treating her like shit, that's a crazy red flag.

i loved that afterwards, at home, Stacy called out Izzy for being so invested, when Chris is standing by Johnie and doesn't care. Izzy trying to play it off like 'bc he's my fren!" ya right, your ego was bruised because Johnie is not still pining for you, and you are feeling insecure and immasculated by the girl you chose and so you're trying to act like the big macho guy.

I am hoping Stacy was just misled by Izzy's version of the fight and that's why she participated in bullying Johnie, bc she otherwise made some good points, telling Izzy not to compare them, and not being impressed by his rehashing of the argument

i saw a tiktok where the creator was talking about how the "lost and found" situation with izzy was his subconscious way to tell stacy he's still desirable to other women since it was right after the first financial conversation we saw between them. i have no doubt part of the johnie stuff is mixed with that too, like you said! he is trying to seem masculine to stacy in ways that she doesn't seem impressed with because damn, she shut that down so quick when they were alone.

she still sucks too for a ton of reasons and it really shows how incompatible they are.

that 'lost and found' theory totally makes sense. It seemed like such an immature attempt at a flex - a trophy box. He seems deeply insecure even aside from Stacy's finances. Tracks with an early comment he made in the pod about getting rejected a lot for being bald, like a woman he was talking to in a bar lifting up his hat, saying "ew," and walking away.

i forgot about that bald comment! especially since i was like oh hell no, i much prefer a guy that embraces being bald rather than trying to hide the balding or having that u of hair around their head behind their ears.
