It’s just Jewish, matrilineal vs patrilineal isn’t the sticking point it used to be in a lot of branches of Judaism now (thankfully).

Yea it used to be at least the mom had to be Jewish for the child to be Jeswish at birth.

If the dad was Jewish and not mom, the baby was not considered Jewish.

But there have been some reforms re: how ancestry is established.

There is still alot weirdness around how and if black people are considered Jews (going by the Ethopian Jews struggle to get recognized).

So by some standards Doja would be Jewish by others just black with Jewish ancestors. (I know from experience the latter is more common for us POC).

That’s a vast oversimplification tbh. I don’t know how even the most conservative interpretation of halachic law could call her anything but Jewish with a Jewish mother (excluding haredi Jews who think orthodox is the only halachically acceptable branch).
No one is going to be calling her Black with Jewish ancestry with a Jewish mother. She’s a Black Jew, it’s simple.

In the religion yes. Ethnically, her 23 and me would say 50% jewish or something similar.
