iirc the tickets for his original shows sold out so fast that he added dates, which obviously tanked the price in the resale tickets because suddenly there were more seats available. So it's less "he couldn't sell his original seats" and more "he overestimated his appeal because scalpers went too hard on the first run of dates". So now people who want to go have more choices of when and where with the new shows, but now his shows that sold out won't be literally full venues because a lot of the seats are rotting in some scummy scalpers' digital hands.
