They way you could tell the Directors boys club just decided they were going to ignore the good work she did. Ugh.

This is why I get annoyed when the these big directors complain about the current state of filmmaking. There are plenty of creatives out there doing good quality, interesting things but egos and just plain prejudice get in the way of recognizing it and they can't relate to their own narrow view of what makes for quality.
