Honestly, not only I will buy the hard copy of this book but I will also have the audiobook because it's Patrick fuckin' Stewart. I listened to him reciting the Sonnets during the pandemic and at one point, he became my lullaby.

He's one of those people that if he read the phone book out loud, I'd listen to it.

I went to London in 2012 and he was in a play about the end of Shakespeare's Life. I was so excited to get tickets and the place wasn't even full! Funnily enough, it was my first full day there so I was having some bad jet lag so I kept having to pinch myself during the first half because I was close to falling asleep. I got a second wind for the second half at least. It was a small theater and I was in the balcony and was maybe 30-40 feet away from him at most!

My friend and I waited for him after the play but he eluded us sadly.

I believe that you were close to falling asleep tbh. His voice does sound like a lullaby when you're tired.

30-40 feet away from his seems so exciting! Aaaah, I truly wish I can experience that one day. So far, he's only been on my screens.

I started doing this strictly with memoirs because the only other time I tried an audiobook, I almost fell asleep at the wheel! It's truly a unique experience to hear the writer speak their story.
