Showtime released the first full-length trailer for "Fellow Travelers", that will make its streaming debut on the Paramount+ with Showtime plan beginning Friday, October 27 before its linear debut on Sunday, October 29 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime

Based on the description and the fact that no period piece with gay men can resist killing one of the love interests with AIDS, I would bet that he is dying in the hat gif.

OMG, clearly I didn't read the description or watch the trailer so AIDS didn't even cross my mind. That's an immediate nope will not watch for me. I only came for the Jonathan Bailey love and gifs.

[Link to spoiler] As far as I can see neither of the main characters die of AIDS, though it is a theme in the plot due to the era it's set in. But the plot does involve a sad ending/things don't go well for all the characters in the style you often get with LGBT love stories. Hope that's not too spoilery!
