It is the direction that makes me wish I could swap bodies with a Bush-era inmate in Guantanamo Bay if it means escaping this theatre.

This seems a bit much...

I don't think they've given us enough info to figure it out yet so I'm sticking with my Lester theory for now.

I do think the murder will mirror the musical in some way though so I thought of another crackpot theory for fun: Oliver or Charles did it

The Pickwick triplets refers to Charles, Oliver and Mabel. We don't know how the musical ends but if it was one of the babies, that means one of the main three did it, probably Oliver so Ben wouldn't ruin his show. Or Charles because he hated him and punched him.

The other two figure it out but want to protect their friend so the line 'what if none of the Pickwick triplets did it?' in the song symbolises them trying to throw the cops off the scent. Then they plant evidence to convince Detective Williams it was the guy living in the attic of the theatre.

Future seasons are about Charles, Oliver and Mabel committing and showing us how they get away with only murders in the building as they terrorise their fellow Arconia residents, leaving them to wonder who will be next, while also pretending to solve the crimes. Sevelyn guest stars in every episode.
