September 27, 2023 In a clip obtained by The Daily Fail, Westcott's son Court revealed that his father Carl Westcott, "doesn't want to spend the last few years of his life fighting Katy and Orlando." Refencing Perry's 2015 battle with elderly Roman Catholic nuns over the sale of a Los Angeles convent, his wife Kameron added: "Katy and Orlando have done this before - they sued the nuns. This is a pattern, they attack the weak. [Westcott] is in a vulnerable state and they attacked him, they tricked him."
She added: "It's been a lot of pressure on the family and its been a lot to handle."
"It sucks. He doesn't deserve to be going through this, that's for sure... He wants to live in his home and be comfortable and be surrounded by his family for the last days that he is alive." Discussing how Westcott - who has been in "memory care" for the past two and a half years - "could die any day," Court revealed that he "said goodbye" to his father before arriving in LA to fight it in court. Kameron argued: "This is absolutely disturbing. There is just no compassion here. It's heartless. It's just so sad."
When asked what she would say to Perry and Bloom, she said: "I would say to them we're not afraid and we are here to fight in his honor. We are going to do what is right - and what is right is standing up for someone who was taken advantage [of]. We need to look out for our elders and we need to be kinder to them and protect them - and hope that this never happens to anybody else."

September 25, 2023 In related news, Katy Perry is also demanding millions of dollars in lost rent from the ailing 83-year-old veteran (Carl Westcott). They have been blocked from moving in for three years now, and the couple say they missed out on $2,670,000 in rent they could have charged on the 9,285-square foot compound in the Santa Ynez foothills. On top of the missed rental income, the "Firework" singer wants a further $2,669,682 to cover the cost of maintaining a different home while she waits to move in.
