I uh... do not think Sophie is gonna win on this point.

They did sell their Miami home, but really the family was US based, as far as I know. Sure they might have been planning a UK move, but they hadn't actually moved yet.

I would also assume that any joint assets would primarily be in the US?

I could be wrong, but I don't see the case moving to the UK.

From her filings they had bought a house, she has doctors appointments for the children and the oldest child has attended nursery school in the UK.

When both children are under 3, and do not appear to have a permenant home, I would think that stability would be compelling.

they had officially moved there in April, and were living in a rental home waiting for their permanent home (that they bought in July) to be ready to move into this December, and both their kids are already enrolled in medical services and nursery school/baby classes there, per Sophie's filing.

after they sold the miami house in march, they spent less than 2 months in the US and the rest of the time in the UK, where they’ve already purchased a house lol joe only came back to start touring

It probably won’t, but I wish it would move to the UK. Joe has the money and the means to travel to see his children. Sophie has been very vocal about wanting to move back to the UK and he even pretended he was going to do so before underhandedly procuring the kids and filing for divorce. Those children are very young, barely able to even form memories, so spare me this garbage about “they lived here their whole lives!” When their lives have barely even begun. Joe is a garbage piece of trash and we all know Sophie is the one who likely does the majority of the child rearing, so he needs to cut his fucking shit and stop fighting to keep the kids in the us to be raised by his nanny’s

I imagine because they married in the US, it will have to be handled in the US.

But also fuck him.

Didn't they have two weddings, though. In the UK and US?

A year later, Jonas popped the question, and in 2019, the couple got tied the knot twice: first in a surprise ceremony in Las Vegas and later at a lavish affair in the French countryside. According to Turner, getting married only changed their relationship for the better.

- people mag so I suppose that's probably true

They married in Vegas and then had a symbolic ceremony in France (there's a LOT of requirements to legally get married in France, including already having ties and living in the area where you're marrying for a month). Most people who aren't French will have the legal ceremony elsewhere first.
