Now that David Gordon Green's Halloween Trilogy has officially wrapped, Miramax is looking to once again shop the rights to the Halloween franchise to another studio, this according to Bloody Disgusting. Green's trilogy was produced by Blumhouse Productions and released into theaters by Universal Pictures as part of a pact with Miramax.

They write, "there is a massive bidding war going on right now, with several different parties interested and vying for the chance to bring Michael Myers back to life." Their source added that Miramax is open to both film and television projects, and that they’re currently taking offers from both studios and streamers.

So either Michael Myers will make his grand return in the small screen (television) for the first time ever, or it could be rebooted once again for theaters. Miramax will ultimately decide where the franchise will go.

Please, no Halloween Ends spoilers, waiting for October to finally watch that lol.

But if you insist:

ONTD, thoughts? Do you want the franchise to continue?
