One of my "if I was rich" fantasies was building a home with reclaimed wood and then I thought, "but what if some of the wood comes from haunted houses?"

So I'm with Kyra on this one. I only believe in haunting .05%, but I won't risk it! I refuse to be the white person in horror movies.

Same. I actually got annoyed with one of the ghost hunting shows where the owners said there were demons or evil spirits in the home, and the ghost hunter guy is verbally taunting the ghosts. Duuuuuuude, they just said that the house has demons, and this TV host wants want to piss them off. Bad idea.

I remember one of those shows did a live broadcast on Halloween and the host was getting upset that they didn't experience anything so he was openly taunting the spirits. At one point, he asked the spirits to pick up the table they were sitting at and throw it at him.

That was actually the plot of a film called ‘Abattoir’ about a guy making a haunted house by tearing up and moving the rooms where murders and suicides happened into one big house. Not a good film but interesting premise.

I'm torn up on this one because on one hand I'm all for reusing old things, especially wood, and I might have gone through with taking it, BUT I also get leaving it because I don't believe in Ouija boards working but I still wouldn't touch one with a ten-foot pole, lmao.
