September 17, 2023 Despite recording their first new song in over 20 years, appearing at the VMA's together, and doing Hot Ones, *NSYNC is not planning a reunion tour, multiple sources have confirmed to Page Six. Those same sources however confirmed that Justin Timberlake will be touring soon.
“Justin is coming out with a new album, so he’s planning a big US tour for 2024,” one music insider revealed. Billboard
was first to report this news.
Forbes wrote a piece about how this reunion benefits Timberlake and his upcoming "comeback." They write, "While 'Better Place' was penned specifically for the children’s movie ("Trolls Band Together"), it also serves another purpose: helping Justin Timberlake mount a comeback."
"The last few years have been tough on Timberlake, both professionally and personally. He has been called out for past actions toward people like Janet Jackson and Britney Spears, who garnered massive public support as she fought her conservatorship," they continue. "But even before the tides turned and the masses seemed to lose their love for the singer, his music career wasn’t going as well as it had in the past." They're talking about Mayo in the Woods.
