Good for him. But, also, how did he (or anyone entering any sort of project, contract, etc) not investigate prior to signing up? I don’t get these people!

Btw, I’m having a hard time believing that Mira “I started in qanon propaganda” is having any sort of moral issues about this.

She's a qanoner?! That's so disappointing.

She's not. She filmed a cameo in 2017/2018 for a film that the makers say isn't about conspiracies, but it is Q-adjacent. It does star a Q-pilled actor, but Sorvino clearly for a check and didn't care.

There's no evidence she's crazy.

probably because shows like DWTS don't employ a lot of WGA writers, maybe 1 or 2 and as a reality show, a lot of ppl just don't naturally think about it that way. not saying it's right, but i can see how he'd not really know.

Tbh, it's not intuitive that a show like Dancing With the Stars has WGA writers on it. So I can see a celeb signing up thinking that like, it can't possibly have WGA writers. It's not scripted TV so I can see how it exists in a separate category in people's brains.

Apparently they were told the show wasn’t struck. So I guess the show was being sneaky to try and get people cast?

It sounds like the actors checked with SAG, got the all clear and didn’t know until after they signed contracts that it’s also a WGA show.

I really respect Matt for stepping back at whatever the cost to him must be. It seems like the cast is all in a bit of a bind.
