Onew has some really nice solo stuff - but all his best music is with SHINee. We had a whole post about their discography here: ONTD ORIGINAL: The Best SHINee Songs As Picked By ONTD!!!

Bakehyun & Kyungsoo are both in Exo. The group is actually stacked with vocal talent. There's another member named Chen who also has a really interesting voice. They both have solo stuff. Baekhyun's is more interesting than Kyungsoo's (in my personal opinion).

Junsu was in DBSK. He's the short one with the raspy voice:

Kihyun is the main vocalist in Monsta X. They're a very fun group tbh. Their Korean stuff is superior, but their English language stuff is probably the best out of all the kpop groups who try English releases. He starts this one:

Can I just add that Onew's version of Nessun Dorma is probably the clearest version I have ever heard? Like, I don't like opera and his version is definitely not the best out there BUT his version was the first time I ever listened to the song and understood clearly every.single.word.
I'm not even kidding, if I discuss Kpop with an italian, I will ask them if they heard Onew singing it.

Also, my spotify pushed Kihyun's youth onto my playlist and I love it, so that is my rec!

If Justin hadn’t dated Britney, JC absolutely would have been the bigger star with the successful solo career. Only because of his history with Britney was JT pushed.

I don't agree. Justin had a face more built for teenie bop magazines. I(adult me)do think JC was way more handsome but Justin had the look and personality for the teen pop crowd.

I'm not talking who had the best. Justin didn't have the voice, JC did. He didn't have the funniest personality(he didn't have to have to ham it up like them bc they were both thought of as not as attractive by most fans) tbh. But he had the look that was most marketable to pre-teens and teenagers. He had a personality that was thought of as the most cool at the time(culture vulture but w/e). It all just added up to him being the main. Britney relationship did help but it wasn't the only reason. There were other factors.

He could definitely sing back in the day, no doubt. But I find his voice a little boring/uninteresting.

i get it. i do remember the one time they let kevin sing solo for i want it that way and i was like wait why don't they let him sing solo more????? he has a beautiful voice like wtf decades later i'm still annoyed lmao

I think it's pretty cool that everyone was able to have their verses to showcase their voice, at least from Millennium onward.
