on one hand it seems the natural conclusion is nsync at the super bowl halftime show but i think justin and his people are at least smart enough to not opt for that given his history - the backlash due to janet wouldn't be great and the super bowl costs money to the performers, so between costs and reputation, nsync wouldn't get much net positive from a halftime show
He did the halftime show a few years ago solo. They're not afraid of him doing it, but I think they might be hesitant to have him do a 3rd time, especially since the last one was so boring.
He should have done what everybody wanted and brought *NSYNC on as guests, but his ego was too big for that, thinking he could carry the whole thing himself.
I know artists typically get THE boost in sales after playing the half time show but I’d think that the reunion tour would be soooooooo lucrative. And I say “the tour” intentionally. Their fan base is going to SHOW UP. And their fan base now has disposable income versus babysitting money.
I feel like Beyoncé & her relationship with dc definitely helped make this happen. Bey’s name has never been tarnished when she brings destiny’s child out. Granted, that could be it. The group is only on a stage because of bey. I digress. But let’s be real. This is only happening because jt as jt is gutter ball city.
