They’re both generally pretty lazy but gators are the ones you hear about attacking in FL.

I think FL crocs only live in the Everglades (and I’m pretty sure it’s the only place in the world they co-exist!) so they’re not around people very much. The crocodiles there are generally shyer than other ones I think.

Crocs are incredibly violent. It's just that there's about 1.5k-2k crocs and about 1.25m gators.

I looked it up to be sure and the national parks site said it's Australian crocs that are extremely aggressive.

Psst, Asian here from a region with (aggro) crocs and from all I've seen & heard about alligators, imo there's not that much of a difference? Both are rather unpredictable and will potentially eat you. I'd personally rather get eaten by a croco-gator than live with Joe Jonas, though, that's for sure.

In Oz saltwater crocs are the nasty, extremely aggro ones, freshwater crocs ones are smaller and less bitey!
