I used to work in school photography and I wish I'd kept a record of the funny names I saw. I don't remember many but a group of siblings all had American town names (Brooklyn, etc - which I found strange because it was an Australian school) and a little white boy was called Optimus.

I'm sure I saw a few Matrix themed names too

I love hearing from people who worked in schools, they've always seen the wildest names. Maybe kids get teased more if they're named after a local place or it seems cooler if it's 'foreign'?

Optimus can go by Tim I guess but wow

I tried to get my husband to commit to “Trinity” for a girl but I’m glad he shut it down cause in retrospect it could come across as religious which we are not lol.
