I was finding it interesting people are still calling this a "oh NOW she apologizes because she got called out" response from Emma as if that's an *inherently bad thing. Whether her intentions were straight up transphobia or just snippy "mean jokes", she probably completely forgot this happened regardless of if her views remained the same or changed over time. *edit I don't mean this in her defense lol she should have never have said or even thought those things! But also the axe forgets; the tree remembers etc

A lot of other celebrities would have just made a notes app tweet or story post about how they're listening they're ready for this convo lmao and I wouldn't have put it past her to do that but she's apparently more savvy than I believed.
