I think out of all the contestants and with this coming out, I'm surprised Matt Walsh hasn't backed out. He should. Actors/SAG-aside, he is probably one of the few people on that show that has a lot of connections to writers because of his career. He was on the picket line for heaven's sake. I think this may have been an oversight on his part since it's not a show that is known for its writing, but now that it has come to light, I hope he backs out. If he doesn't, shame on him.

One is an actor (and on DWTS), and the other is a right wing political commentator.

Im sure im not the only one confused about this, cause i also confuse those names with John Walsh, host of Americas Most Wanted.

I wonder if some of them will be subject to financial penalties if they don’t go on the show though? If CBS is making the show go forward maybe they can’t back out- I imagine to go on a reality show their contract is not through SAG or WGA. Not all of them may be able to cover any financial costs by backing out. It’s the only thing I can think of, but I also don’t know much about these contracts.
