Yall same. Im 31 and it makes me want to die thinking about how many more years i have to work. I hate everything about having a job, sans the money part. Can someone just make me a kept woman already idc

seriously. while i'm lucky enough not to hate my job (i'm neutral on it, which is the sweet spot for me right now), i loathe that i have to have a job. i just wanna live, man.

right. ive always had these big dreams of getting my masters and teaching sociology at my local community college, get involved with non profit grass roots movements for social justice, along with being an elementary school teacher lol. idk ive been really depressed the past couple days and thinking about all the things ive had drive to do makes me weep tbh

I mean don't get me wrong I hate that I didn't have the career in education I really wanted, but like being on disability only really sucks in that Social Security doesn't pay much. I don't HONESTLY miss slogging to a job, I just miss being healthier.

Same, I don’t hate my job too badly/it’s tolerable enough, but geez every day I spend there feels like such a waste of my time, I can’t wait till I can finally retire and live a life of leisure

I don't mind my job, but I 10000% chose it based on the retirement benefits. I'm eligible to retire at 57, which is better than most in the US. And once I hit 57 I get medical benefits for life. I just gotta hang on for 23.5 more years!

Yeah, I really envy people who have a vocation and actually enjoy their job for its own sake. I don't hate mine at all, but ultimately I wouldn't be there if I didn't need the paycheck
