ONTD Original: What's that show again? Shows that you may have forgot existed
-Every year there is a show that has potential and is fairly original but never found its audience or given room to grow. Most havent made it to streaming and thus have been largely forgotten. So here's a 8 show countdown of those that were gone to soon lasting only 1-2 seasons.
1. Tru Calling

Synopsis - When Tru Davies starts working at the city morgue, she learns that she can go back in time for one day to help change the fates of both strangers and those close to her. Tru is assisted by Harrison, her irresponsible younger brother, and Davis, her loyal friend and confidante.
2. Wonderfalls

Network - Fox
Synopsis - A 20-something Niagara Falls souvenir-shop worker finds her life is changed forever when inanimate animal figures - toys, cartoon images etc. - begin talking to her. Their cryptic messages set into motion a chain of events that invariably lead her into the lives of others.
3. Point Pleasant
Seasons - 1
Network - Fox
Synopsis - "Twin Peaks" and "Rosemary's Baby" are among the touchstones for this supernatural soap opera, in which a young woman mysteriously comes ashore in a sleepy beach town and proceeds to rattle a number of its residents. She's searching for her mother, but her real father's identity is the true shocker.
4. Alphas
Seasons - 2
Network - Syfy
Synopsis - Alphas are ordinary citizens with amazing abilities (including superhuman physical and mental abilities) who operate within the Department of Defense. The clandestine group, led by pre-eminent neurologist Dr. Lee Rosen, investigates cases that point to others with similar Alpha abilities. Working against the clock to solve this new brand of crime, the Alphas must prevent their own personality differences and disparate backgrounds from interfering with their overall mission -- catching the enemy.
5. Cleopatra 2525

Synopsis - Hey, did you hear the one about the stripper who was crygenically frozen after her breast augmentation surgery goes awry, only to be awakened by two warrior maidens 500 years later in a world ruled by machines? Probably not, but that's the basic premise of this loopy action series from the creative team of "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys." Cleo, the "exotic dancer," teams up with action babes Hel and Serge to take Earth back from the robotic overlords, aided by a sympathetic robot named Mauser. An unseen woman named simply Voice gives them their marching orders.
6. Dark Angel

Network - FOX
Synopsis - A genetically enhanced superhuman prototype, Max, who, as a child, escaped from a covert government military facility along with 11 others who were all being raised and trained to be super-soldiers. Now an adult, Max joins forces with idealistic cyber journalist Logan to battle corruption in post-apocalypse America as he constantly tries to elude capture by government agents. While all that is going on, Max also searches for her genetically enhanced brothers and sisters, all of whom were scattered in the aftermath of their escape.
7. 666 Park Avenue

Network - ABC
Synopsis - When a young couple from the Midwest are hired to manage The Drake, the premiere apartment building on Manhattan's Upper East Side, they discover that things there are rarely as they seem. Mysterious owners Gavin and Olivia Doran are happy to provide for the tenants' needs, but everything comes at a price. The building is home to supernatural forces that imprison and endanger the lives of the human residents, though they seem blinded to that fact as they unwittingly make Faustian deals to achieve their desires and ambitions.
8. Witchblade

Synopsis - NY detective Sara Pezzini acquires supernatural powers when she discovers an ancient weapon powerful enough to battle earth's darkest forces. For thousands of years, the Witchblade has existed - a symbiotic gauntlet that becomes one with its wearer.
