Genre spanning, bringer of jazz/rhythm/soul/blues/doo-wop back to the main stage with her 2nd album, Back to Black. Debuting in 2006, B2B was a stark difference from the woman who won an Ivor Novello award for "Stronger than Me".

In press and pictures from B2B we see a new Amy; massive beehive, strong black eyeliner and multiple tattoos. B2B was a critical darling. On 10 February 2008, Winehouse received five Grammy Awards, winning in the following categories: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for the single "Rehab", and Best Pop Vocal Album.[66] The singer also earned a Grammy as Best New Artist, earning her an entry in the 2009 edition of the Guinness Book of Records for Most Grammy Awards won by a British Female Act (Adele now holds this record with 16 Grammy Awards).

Amy's visa to America hadn't processed yet, she had a gig and stayed up until 3:00am to find out the results.

Before Amy passed she recorded a great duet with Tony Bennett (also RIP). This is the Amy we should remember.
