- EA confirmed that whenever the Sims 5 drops, it'll be free to play and download
- No need for core game purchase or subscription to access it
- The goal being to make the game easily accessible to everyone so we can all play with friends, neighbours, whomever
- No word on the prices of DLC, in game purchases, or if they'll make toddlers and pools free too
- EA will continue to develop new content for Sims 4 and the two games will coexist
