Doja Cat’s ‘Paint the Town Red’ Becomes Her Second No. 1 Single on Billboard Hot 100
Maybe more celebs should fight their Stans online? Doja Cat just secured her second no. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Paint the Town Red." Her first no. 1 hit was "Say So" with Nicki Minaj. It's her first solo no. 1 and first rap song to reach the top of the the Billboard Hot 100 in 2023, and the first since Nicki Minaj's “Super Freaky Girl” over a year ago. The song's success can be attributed to it being a viral hit on TikTok. It has also done extremely well on streaming, as well as on radio.
Elsewhere on the chart, Nicki Minaj's lead single from The Pink Print 2, "Last Time I Saw You" debuted at no. 23. "Demons" by Doja Cat also debuted at no. 46 on the chart.
