One thing that's funny about Amy is she ends up having to "apologize" more than the usual comedian. She's always back-tracking or cowering away the minute she gets any pushback.

I think she’s one of those people that are funnier in their own head, but when the words come out, it just falls face first.

Im wondering if Chuck Schumer cut some tax deal with studio guys in exchange for giving Amy some TV and movie roles.

I actually think its because a lot of comedy worked in the early 10s but now it's seen as mean-spirited or insecure. Plus she seems to go for low-hanging fruit a lot.

I've been noticing that..about half of my friends have adapted to humor and kept up with the times, and half are still posting humor that would have worked in the 90s/2000s..but not now. Some of the memes they post on facebook-it's really making millenials look like boomers.

I actually think it's because no one gives her passes anymore. Her comedy worked in the early 10s but the attitudes have changed (especially coming from women) so she's kinda outta luck and probably doesn't wanna be iced out of popular social circles.
