Watching Britney's old performances depresses me because I miss the era when women could dance/perform in jeans and not lingerie.

I love watching her old performances, though. She truly is an entertainment industry icon.

She's so much more confident and comfortable running shoes! Knee injuries are no joke and even though they've healed, you'll never be rid of the fear that they'll suddenly give out on you. I'm hoping for her sake that she'll have more comfortable footwear in her new era if she ever decides to go back to work.

I have frequently wondered why she - or I guess maybe it was the malignant overlords insisting on it - kept performing in super slim stiletto heels for everything. So much less stability than a chunky heel or a wedge (if you must insist on having a heel at all)
