lol for all the manufactured accusations she (and the spice girls too) got...they industry hasn't been able to produce another Britney. Which is funny cause other girls had stronger voices than her or maybe dance more but Britney is the one who had the x-factor and staying power.

Which is why I always smirk when successful pop acts get the "oh you could stick anyone in there and it'd be a hit" criticism. Like... the industry is constantly trying that and the scene is littered with failures, how many times do you need it demonstrated lol

It would have been fascinating to see what she might have continued to accomplish if she hadn't been abused by basically everyone around her, personally/professionally. I wonder if she would've slowed down and retired after her 20's/sex kitten era, gone on to do a long-term Vegas residency, been a Madonna constantly re-inventing herself.
