I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't. You see it all the time when people continue to protest a loved one's innocence in the face of even the most smoking gun evidence - they can't cope with the way it rewrites their life story as they know it, so they put their heads in the sand. (And that's people who haven't been groomed by an authority figure)

Which, I've got a lot of empathy for why that is. She's a victim of that waste of oxygen as much as Dylan is.
