maybe they should try holiday themes instead (they might already have this i don't watch very much anymore).

halloween bakes, winter holiday bakes, valentine's, etc, etc.

i want them to do an everything but chocolate bake.

and to give the bakers enough proper time to do their bake, and not hope for all the planets, outside temperature and humidity level to be alligned right. Like, stop teaching viewers that you should always put your bakes into the fridge and freezer to cool off, ffs.

Ikr? I’ve never put any bake in the fridge/freezer but it seems like a great way to get a really inconsistent texture

I do store stuff in the fridge - a lot of stuff if it has heavy cream, etc... can't be left out at room temperature - it can only sit out a few hours.

oh so do I, absolutely. I always bake a sponge the day before and let it in the fridge overnight because i find it is easier to cut in tiers. The problem is not storing the cake in the fridge, the problem is putting a cake, still warm (or even straight out of the oven) into the fridge or freezer to cool it down, which in the past years keeps on happening because they do not give the bakers enough time.

I hate how they make them rush.

They have done those before. They've done Christmas themed episodes before. The Halloween theme ended up being weird - they thought Smores were for Halloween.

What they did to s'mores was a crime

It really was, which is why I don't think Halloween worked out. I guess they don't really celebrate it in England - but nothing they did was actually Halloween themed. They have no idea what kind of things people eat for Halloween at all.

Like sure, baked goods is not the biggest thing for Halloween, but take a fall dessert and make it spooky!

Ha, yes, the Halloween = s'mores was a head scratcher! Maybe it's because I live in California, but s'mores are 100% a summer beach thing.

Same here in VA. You make them over a camp fire in Girl Scouts or whatever.
