I understand it's frustrating when people rewrite shit you wrote (I'd know, I write for a living) but based on what she said, Vince wasn't great at delegating tasks/being clear about what he wanted so his actions read more like he was clueless & unprepared than unappreciative of her work.

Based on this anecdote & the one in this post, miss Patty sounds quite OTT lol

Agreed. She seems exhausting to be around. I don't doubt that Vince Gilligan may have fallen short in some ways, but he's always giving so much credit to his team and seems like an all-around lovely guy. People who work with him have said as much.

Honestly, the way he stood up for Skyler/Anna at the risk of alienating such a big part of the BrB fandom made me appreciate him a lot. Granted he's an man so never the hill I'm willing to die on, but considering that Patty is sharing this Jason story as if it's endearing or something, I'm guessing homegirl has a very particular perception of things lol

Another example of her complaining about re-writes. I feel like when I hear about the behind the scenes with any show, the showrunner always takes a pass at a script. It seems to me that she has very unrealistic expectations of how TV works which would have been fine on her first job but she complains about this with Breaking Bad, Friends and Desperate Housewives.

I think it's probably very good that she stopped working in TV.
