Honestly I feel like she never would have had the career she's got if this had happened. I feel like there's still a stigma to being a "TV actor" and it can be much harder to transition to lead film roles.

Yeah with pan am but I guess it didn’t drag her down bc it wasn’t too popular?

I personally only heard of it bc of margot whereas AHS was everywhere 10 years ago.

Australian soaps don't count lol because Americans don't know about them

and then she did star in Pan Am but she got lucky that nobody watched it

so everything lined up for her to seamlessly transition to movies with no stigma, girl got lucky
