Pls use this post as an opportunity to talk about whatever other k-drama you're watching right now or looking forward to being released.

I'm currently watching My I.D. is Gangnam Beauty and I think next up on my list will be Celebrity.

Also also, I'm SO close to biting the bullet and signing up for a Viki subscription. lol There are a lot of k-dramas on there that are on my To Watch list. Any Viki subscribers here able to tell me if it is worth it?

I have subbed to Viki.com for many years. I pay the top tier of $99.00 per year for all access (that was my December renewal price, not sure what annual is now). Now that I am switching to more countries, there is so fucking much there.

They also have the $5.99 month with less content, but still a LOT.

Maybe my strategy will be to get the cheaper plan for a year or so and burn through the dramas available on the cheaper plan and then upgrade later?

Yes and you can upgrade and downgrade during the term.

I really, really hate that Viki uses community subtitles and DOESN'T PAY THEM. It just gives them access to stuff not in their region and obv their subscriptions are free, but the amount of work it takes to segment & subtitle is not worth it.

I just finished Sky Castle and really liked it. It was a surprising 20 episodes long compared to the 16 episode length I typically come across.

I pay £4.22 for Viki and I think it's worth it.

Even better now that it has app support on my smart TV vs just my tablet/phone.

I have viki account and I use it for my Chinese dramas since Netflix started this obsession and failed at their acquisition of more. I do not regret it and I love it so much. But it's how I'm watching What's Wrong With Secretary Kim? and bless it.
